Airports
(we missed the flight1)

In Cincinnati: Suleiman ate.. (naturally) In Cincinnati: I ate.. In Cincinnati: we even had coffee.. that's why we missed the plane--basically. In Seattle: jusr arrived.
 

At Sharis with Ali

Ali (Noo7) Alame.. alive and kicking we stopped at Sharis on the way from the airport (and the restaurant journey begins!!)

the poor guys had a buffet.. we paid for it.. but they really paid for it. Outside: Ali is simling.. and suli is dreaming i just gained 3 pounds. .. and as soon as we got in the car.. I don't know how Ali drove back home..

looking at some pacific northwest art Ali and Suli, very nice photo actually Suli and I, standing near the entrance next to the fish market.. where the fun is. Some lousy artist drew me.. you could tell i didn't like him!

we saw Shahram and Shahrayar.. the owners.. they looked just as I left them.. very nice people.

Outside.. the guys got swindled by some people asking for donations for some program.. and the PAID.. around $100.. so dumb!!! (I managed to respectfully decline) Inside: they swindled ME.. their friend.. eating my rasberry-lemon cheesecake while i was trying to photograph them!
 

At B & O Cafe

One of the best cafes in downtown Seattle--I think. Ahmad just got married one month ago.. congrats bush-haab. but now is telling me a hard to believe story.. but i kept quite.. he's a new groom. wondering if I believed a word.. suli was there to eat.. let's face it.

I think Suli is not happy with his dish.. he's looking with interest at Ali's Ali has noticed.. and is not letting the plate go even when the picture is being taken I brought it to his attention and asked him to put the fork down, and asked the waitress to take another picture.. but he's still ready wipe the plate clean in 4 seconds.

looking around.. stumbling upon something i bought for $28 a month ago.. and now it's $4.99 and they bought TWO OF THEM.. grrrrr... Ali didn't find his size.. 8-XL..

Ali pretends he knows what's going on.. actually he's just looking at the shapes (suli is laughing at him) suli is trying to help Ali figure out the cameras.. (I am laughing at them)
 

At the Space Needle

it was cold outside.. no one is smiling much better inside.. suleiman is observing the difference on top of the space needle.. Seattle skyline behind us Hamed is in the University of Washington on sabbatical, explaining his research to Ali (who is a bit lost.).... Meanwhile, Suleiman is checking the people at the apartment building next to the space needle!

we are sad we're going back.. either we were sad to return, or we were so sick of each other.. anyway, we sat 3 seats apart and never talked.

* We spent so much time eating and drinking coffee in Cincinnati, just took our time, which ended up being too much time!
